These Terms govern your use of HYDE Park. HYDE Park is operated by Barracuda MMC, an Azerbaijani limited liability company ("Barracuda", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing the service, or publishing content, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility and accounts

HYDE Park is for people aged 16 or over. By using it, you confirm that you are at least 16 and able to agree to these Terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account. Anonymous participation is available within HYDE Park, but anonymity does not exempt anyone from these Terms or applicable law.

2. The public record

HYDE Park is a moderated civic discussion space built around a durable public record. When you publish a Hyde, Rally, Parade, reply, Rehyde, image, or YouTube link, it becomes public. It may be discoverable through feeds, search, profiles, and shared links.

Authors cannot edit or delete published content or attachments. You are responsible for reviewing your content before publication and for not publishing information that should remain private. Deleting an account removes private account state as described in the Privacy Policy, but does not remove the public record or other material that must be retained for safety, audit, or legal reasons. This does not limit our ability to hide or remove content and an account where safeguarding—such as a confirmed under-16 account—requires it.

3. Your content and permission to operate the service

You keep any rights you have in your content. By publishing it, you grant Barracuda a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and make available that content as needed to operate, secure, moderate, preserve, and promote HYDE Park and its public record. This licence continues for as long as the content is retained as part of that public record.

You promise that you have the necessary rights, permissions, and lawful basis to publish your content, including any image, link, or personal information relating to another person.

4. Rules for participation

You must comply with the HYDE Park Charter and Community Rules. Do not use HYDE Park to threaten, harass, impersonate, defraud, exploit, or dehumanise others; publish unlawful, dangerous, sexually exploitative, or privacy-invasive material; manipulate civic features, reports, ranks, or Jury Gardens; or violate another person's intellectual-property or privacy rights.

Rallies and Parades are digital civic features only. They must not be used to organise real-world meeting locations, routes, transport, equipment, logistics, or other physical-gathering coordination.

5. Moderation, reporting, and enforcement

We use automated systems and human review to help moderate text and images, detect abuse, enforce rules, and protect the service. Content can be rejected before publication, restricted, removed, preserved, or escalated for review. Reports, administrators, and Jury Gardens may lead to further review. Possible actions include warnings, loss of privileges, reduced visibility, suspension, removal, or permanent account action.

We may take these actions where we reasonably consider them necessary for safety, service integrity, legal compliance, or enforcement of these Terms. Moderation is not a guarantee that all content is lawful, accurate, safe, or appropriate.

6. Third-party services

HYDE Park may display public YouTube videos through YouTube's embed service. Those videos and any third-party sites you visit are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary for operation, security, legal compliance, or improvement of HYDE Park. We will provide notice of material changes to these Terms through the service or another reasonable method. Continued use after the effective date of an updated version means you accept it.

8. Disclaimers and liability

HYDE Park is provided on an "as available" basis. Public content is created by users and does not necessarily represent Barracuda's views. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Subject to any mandatory law that gives you a different forum or protection, disputes relating to these Terms or HYDE Park will be submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
